Economist, European Department, IMF
Pietro Dallari has been an economist at the IMF since 2014. He first worked in the African Department, and in 2016 he joined the Fiscal Affairs Department as the fiscal economist of Somalia and, subsequently, Serbia. Prior to joining the IMF, he was a consultant in the Directorate General Research at the European Central Bank. His analytical work focuses on the estimation and simulation of macrostructural economic models, and on the domestic and international spillover effects of fiscal policy shocks. Pietro is an Italian national, and he received his Ph.D. in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
