Senior Expert on Competitiveness, Regional Cooperation Council
Ms. Dragana Djurica is a Senior Expert on Competitiveness in the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), where she is entrusted with the work on the creation and implementation of the common investment reform agenda of the Western Balkans, along with integration of its financial markets, and industrial development. In this endeavor, Ms. Djurica is facilitating regional dialogue and cooperation among the Western Balkans government and private sectors, under the framework of development of a Regional Economic Area and SEE 2020 Strategy. In addition, she is in charge of coordinating the activities of mainstreaming gender equality into economic competitiveness and promotion of regional value chains in priority industries of SEE, such as tourism industry. Before joining the Regional Cooperation Council, she was a part of the economic diplomacy of the Republic of Serbia, and before that she worked in the state investment promotion agency, as well as in the private sector. She holds a MA in European Economic Integration from Vrije University in Brussels and B.Sc. in Economics from the University of La Verne.
