Aleš is a Financial Expert at Andersen Slovenia and its subsidiaries in Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia. He is an expert in finance and transactions with a diverse interdisciplinary background. He is a full professor of quantitative finance and actuarial science at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, where he has contributed extensively to academic and professional domains.

Aleš holds a degree in physics, an MBA in finance, and a PhD in actuarial science, reflecting his multifaceted expertise. His career spans decades of experience in corporate finance, risk management, banking, and insurance. He has successfully led or participated in over 100 projects across various sectors, including energy advisory, financial modeling, mergers and acquisitions, and credit risk management. His leadership roles include heading the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) departments at Grant Thornton and Crowe Horwath Slovenia. As a partner at CSA Advisory and Kreditna Reforma, he managed high-value transactions and complex NPL portfolios.
