Enrique Blanco Armas is Lead Economist for the Western Balkans with the World Bank since September 2019, guiding the World Bank’s macroeconomic and fiscal policy work in the region. He joined the World Bank in 2005 and prior to the Western Balkans he has worked on Pakistan, Mozambique and Indonesia. Enrique is a Spanish national with a Master in Development Economics of the University of Sussex in the UK and a degree in economics from the University of Augsburg in Germany.
