Rade Bučevac has managed CRH operations in Western Balkans region since September 2022, involving several different business segments within construction materials industry, represented by brands Moravacem, Sapphire and Thermostone. He joined CRH group, world leading construction materials company, in November 2018 operating in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic. 

Previously Rade worked in Lafarge, member of LafargeHolcim group, one of the global leaders in Cement, RMC and Aggregates business, focusing on Serbia and Austria.

Rade holds a master's degree in process & environmental engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering University of Belgrade. He finalized his MBA degree at IEDC Bled School of Management in 2018. 

Balanced experience in both operational and strategic roles in the construction materials industry, with expertise in operations, commercial and marketing roles. Deep knowledge and insight into the construction ecosystem, dynamics and its inefficiencies. Passionate seeker for new business development, vertical integrations, industry transformation and decarbonization. Highly engaged in local community and environmental topics.

With 16 years of experience as manager and 13 years as executive, Rade worked in multi-cultural setups, building and leading strong multi-disciplinary and operational teams, discovering high potential talents and developing them to reach their own potential.

Married, father of Nađa, Dunja and Sergej. 

Speaking English, German, Russian and Slovak languages.
