Darko Budec founded company BUCK 28 years ago, and dedicated his professional career to its development, by developing his employees and lighting products. With careful strategic guidance, planning, forecasting of trends, sometimes even leading new ones, he has developed several fields of excellency that are now BUCK’s signature mark: general, medical, industrial, sport and public lighting.

BUCK is currently situated on three addresses: in Belgrade, Frankfurt am Main and Moscow, while their products are located in as many as 46 markets worldwide. Mr. Budec considers his biggest success the appearance of original Serbian products on international designer scene, since BUCK has received the renowned awards for original industrial design, graphic design and communication design (Red Dot, IF Design Award, German Design Award, Iconic Design Award, Good Design Award). As founder and president of company BUCK, Mr. Budec was the first national winner, later first Serbian representative of World’s Entrepreneur of the Year by EY, after which BUCK has received multiple acknowledgements for corporate management.
