Darko Budeč founded the company BUCK more than 30 years ago and dedicated his professional career to its development, the development of his employees and lighting products. Through careful strategic management, planning, forecasting trends, and sometimes leading new ones, he developed several fields of excellence for which BUCK is known: architectural, medical, industrial, sports and public lighting. BUCK is currently located at addresses in Belgrade, Vienna, Frankfurt, and its products are sold in as many as 46 markets around the globe.

In the business strategy, he emphasizes the element of ecology. High-quality, energy-efficient solutions invite the public to preserve the environment. The development of all products in the coming period is oriented according to the principles of the circular economy.

He considers breaking into the international design scene of original Serbian products to be his greatest success, as BUCK received prestigious awards for original industrial design, graphic design and communication design (Red dot, IF Design Award, German Design Award, Iconic Design Award, Good Design Award).
