Jasminka Cekic Markovic, MA in Education policy analyses, is Director and Researcher at the Centre for Education Policy, Belgrade. During the more than fifteen years long professional engagement in education, Ms. Cekic Markovic has built up vast knowledge and practical experience regarding educational policies including policies towards vulnerable groups, competence-based education, education and employment link in transition countries as well as the development of human resources in education. In the stated areas she has worked on evidence-based formulating policies and strategic advice to different national line institutions, analysing, implementing and evaluating of different national, regional and international projects and programmes dedicated to improvement and modernization of educational system. She significant research experience and has extensive international expert’s experience in the Western Balkans, EU countries, ex-Soviet region and North Africa. Ms Cekic Markovic is Governing Board member of Serbian Society of Researchers in Education.
