Aleksandar Cicmil was born in 1993. and holds three university degrees: BSc in International Finance (Bocconi University, Italy) MSc in Business Analytics and Big Data (Politecnico di Milano, Italy) and MSc in Tourism & Hotel Management (University of Novi Sad, Serbia).

His academic exposure spans several countries including Italy, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain and Serbia. In addition, he was also a delegate at leading business conferences at Imperial College London, University of Cologne, WHU Beisheim and University of Oxford.

His professional career started as a finance trainee at Deutsche Bank AG and BlackRock, Inc. (London), where Aleksandar worked in the areas of investment banking and asset management. Later on, he completed a graduate rotational program at Banca Intesa (Belgrade), where he worked across 3 divisions: credit analysis, risk management, treasury & ALM.

Since 2016. Aleksandar has been working in the finance department of Promont Group LLC, Novi Sad, family business established in 1958. and with operations in various industries. Throughout the years he moved from the position of finance analyst to finance manager and recently to finance director (CFO).

Since 2020. Aleksandar is also responsible for the oversight of the hotel business of Promont Group - Resort Fruške Terme. Investments in the resort located in Vrdnik Spa amount to over 50 mill EUR. The resort consists of three hotel resorts: Adults-only Resort Premier Aqua 5*, Family & Conference Resort Fruške Terme 4* and Ethno Resort Vrdnička Kula 4*.

Aleksandar was awarded with the “Captain Miša Anastasijević” honour for the best young manager in AP Vojvodina in 2019. He is a member of MENSA and speaks conversational Italian and fluent Serbian and English.
