Stojan Colakov has been the CEO of Energoprojekt Holding plc. since September 01st, 2017. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the University of Belgrade in 1982 and specialized in civil engineering works. He is the Vice President of the Chamber of Construction Industry of Serbia and a member of the Board of the Association of Construction and BMI with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

He was professionally engaged in various large-scale projects in the country and abroad, such as: 1982 – 1992 Site Manager and Chief Engineer, 1992 – 1993 as the Project Manager at the project Belgrade By-pass, 1993-1996 Site Manager at the project Chira-Piura 3, and 1996-2000 Regional Manager for the region of Latin America (Lima, Peru).

He acquired valuable and vast professional experience working abroad, in Malaysia, Kenia, Uganda, Zambia, Guinea, Algeria, Ethiopia, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Kazakhstan and Russia.

In the period from 2000 to 2005 he held the position of the Managing Director of Energoprojekt Niskogradnja plc. In the period 2007-2009 he performed the role of the Executive Director for Corporate Projects and Development in Energoprojekt Holding plc. In the period from 2010 to 2016 he was the Managing Director of Energoprojekt Niskogradnja plc.
