Filip Filipović has been in water polo for almost 30 years. He started his career in the Water Polo Club Partizan, where he first played for the first team in 2001. Two years later, he made his debut for the senior national team, at the European Championship in Kranj, Slovenia, where, as the youngest national team player, he was the first to present the cup after returning from the championship.
With the cap number 10 in the national team, he won 34 medals, played 382 games, scored 679 goals, and is the second top scorer of all time.
In his club career, after Partizan, he played in Italy's Pro Recco, Serbia's Radnički from
Kragujevac, Hungary's Szolnok, and ended his career in Greece's Olympiakos. He is the winner of the most prestigious recognitions and awards, voted the best player in Europe and the world several times.
