Gabriel Ghita holds the position of VP, Business Development, Mastercard Central and Eastern Europe, leading the business development team within the Central and Eastern Europe division.

Gabriel and his team’s responsibilities are focused on implementing emerging payment technologies and identifying business opportunities in fields such as e-commerce, online payments, instant payments or digital wallets.

Gabriel joined Mastercard in 2007 to manage the development of the Mastercard business in Romania and the Balkan region and has an experience of more than 17 years in the electronic payments industry.

Gabriel has a degree in Management from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
