Dr. Gabrijela Grujić was born on March 29, 1971 in Belgrade. In 1994, she completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, Department of General Music Pedagogy. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 1998. She obtained her diploma of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Novi Sad in 2009. She has been employed at the Faculty of Education in Belgrade since 2007, and in 2012 she obtained the title of assistant professor. She is currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Belgrade. 

Under the auspices of the Swiss Government, she completed dual education training at the prestigious KOF Swiss Economic Institute Center. She is the creator of the National Model of Dual Education in Serbia.

In the period from September 2016 to September 2017, she served as an advisor to the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development for dual education. She held the position of Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning from September 2017. In the period from 2017 to 2022, she held the position of Assistant Minister for Dual Education.

From 2022, dr. Grujić is acting director of the Office for Dual Education and National Qualifications Framework, where she deals with the improvement and implementation of the national qualifications framework and the development of dual education in Serbia. Her previous experience as an assistant minister allowed her to see the potential of this educational model, which connects educational institutions and the economy in order to provide relevant competencies to students.

She is the president of the Council for the National Qualifications Framework.  She participated in the drafting of numerous strategic documents and regulations, as well as in numerous projects dealing with educational reforms and connecting educational systems with the labor market, such as "EQF, Europass and Euroguidance - National Centers ERASMUS-EDU-2021-POL-NTWK-EQF-IBA", “Support for the reform of the dual system of secondary vocational education and the National Qualifications Framework in the light of lifelong learning in Serbia” (SDC), Secondary vocational education and employment of young people in Serbia (GIZ), "E2E - Knowledge to job: Developing youth skills and public-private partnership in Serbia - phase III" (NIRAS)... 

She prepared the publication "National model of dual education: the path to the future of Serbia".

She is the mother of three children.
