Epidemiologist, Head of the Department of Epidemiology, Acting Assistant Minister of the Labor and Employment in the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans, and Social Affairs
Graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade (MFUB) in 1990, and was elected professor in 2011. Defended her master's thesis in 1994, and in 1999 her doctoral dissertation titled "Risk factors for the development of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus". Completed a specialization in epidemiology at MFUB in 1996 and a subspecialization in Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases in 2017. She was a member of the Health Council of Serbia, president of the Working Group for Accreditation of Continuing Education Programs of Serbia, member of the MFUB Council, director of the Institute of Epidemiology, head of the Department of Specialist Education, deputy director of the Center - School of Public Health and Health Care Management. She is the author and co-author of over 300 papers, the head of the scientific project "Epidemiological Research" and a member of several projects. She is the head of the Department of General Subjects of Specialist Academic Studies, the head of the Department of Epidemiology, a member of the Program Council of Doctoral Studies, the module of Epidemiology and Public Health. From May 2021, the acting Assistant Minister of Labor and Employment. She was awarded for scientific research and for her contribution to the drafting and adoption of the Law on Social Entrepreneurship (team award).
