Ilija Jaraković was born in 1954, in the village of Bioska near Užice, where he finished his primary school.
After finishing the Grammar School in Užice, he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, in 1978.
From 1978 to 1982, he worked in Prva iskra Barič, performing the jobs of designing systems of measurement-regulation equipment in process industry.
From 1982 to1987, he was employed at the Institute for Automation, where he worked on the development of hydraulic components and systems and their application in various branches of industry.
From 1987 to 2002, he worked in the Lola Ribar corporation, where he managed the projects dealing with the development of components and systems with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drives as well as with the development of machines, plants and entire lines which are PLC and CNC controlled.
In 2002, he founded the development and production company Servoteh d.o.o. with a programme of developing systems of complete automation in industry.
By coordinating its constant development and an inventive approach to solving numerous technological requirements in different branches of industry, Servoteh today has its references about complete machines, technological plants and lines successfully realised both in domestic factories and in leading companies abroad.
