Mr. Jovanović is the President of the Executive Board of RBA Bank, a member of Raiffeisen Group, entrusted with supervising the successful completion of the integration process. From 2016 until 2022, he held the position of the Deputy Chairman of the Managing Board at Raiffeisen Bank a.d. Beograd, where as a member of the Managing Board, he was in charge of the retail business, including premium banking segment and small businesses and entrepreneurs. In four years, Mr. Jovanović transformed the retail business of Raiffeisen bank in Serbia making it the leader in digital banking services on a highly competitive market. Together with achieving excellent business results, he successfully developed the most prominent talents within his team. Furthermore, he is in charge of two affiliated companies within Raiffeisen Group in Serbia - Raiffeisen FUTURE a.d. Beograd, a voluntary pension fund company, and Raiffeisen INVEST a.d. Beograd, an asset management company.
Between 2006 and 2010, Mr. Jovanović took on several managerial positions at Raiffeisen International Holding AG in Austria, where he gained international experience in a multicultural environment, primarily in the field of retail business.
Mr. Jovanović is a strong proponent of innovation and change, as well as of strategic planning, financial performance, sales and marketing efficiency, product value proposition and client service delivery.
He is a member of the Executive Board of a non-governmental and non-profit organization Digital Serbia Initiative through which he is actively involved in promoting and contributing to the development of a growing startup ecosystem in Serbia and raising awareness on its importance for the future development of economy. Through DSI Business Angels network, he is also an active investor into local startup community.
Mr. Jovanović holds a degree from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, as well as an MBA from London Business School. He also completed specialist studies at the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the Furman University in the US.
