JOVIĆ Dejan
Professor, Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb
Dejan Jović is Professor of Political Science at University of Zagreb and Visiting Professor at University of Belgrade. He obtained his PhD from London School of Economics in 1999 and worked as Lecturer in Politics at University of Stirling, UK (2000-2010). He was Jean Monnet Fellow at European University Institute in Florence in 2000 and Visiting Fellow at Goldsmiths’ University of London in 2017. He is President of the Managing Board of the Foreign Policy Forum, a think-tank he co-founded in Zagreb. He is also a Vice-President of International Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 
Professor Jović is author of “Yugoslavia: a State that Withered Away” (Purdue University Press, 2009) and “War and Myth: Politics of Identity in Contemporary Croatia” (Fraktura, 2017). He edited several books in the area of theory of international relations and contemporary history of Western Balkans. He was Editor-in-Chief of Croatian Political Science Review (2012-2020) and is currently editor of Tragovi (Footprints): a journal for Serbian and Croatian Issues. 
Dejan Jović was Chief Political Analyst in the Office of President of Croatia (2010-2014) and president of the Managing Board of Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) in Zagreb (2014-2016). 
Professor Jović teaches courses in Politics and Society in Southeast Europe, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Relations, Croatian Foreign Policy and Theories of International Relations.
