KANDIĆ Uroš
State Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Youth, Government of the Republic of Serbia
Uroš Kandić was born in Zrenjanin on August 16, 1979, where he completed primary and secondary school. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade in 2004, earning a degree in political science in journalism and communication. At the same faculty, he obtained the title of Master of Political Science in 2019. He is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Political Sciences, with scientific interests in the field of studying elections and electoral systems. 
From 2014 to 2020, he was the head of the public relations office of the Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajić. 
From 2012 to 2014, he was the head of the public relations group of the Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajić. 
From 2008 to 2012, he was a public relations advisor to the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Rasim Ljajić. 
From 2007 to 2008, he was employed in the public relations department of the Ministry of Education. 
From 2004 to 2007, he was a journalist and editor in the editorial offices of the daily newspapers "Glas Javnosti" and "Kurir". 
From 2012 to 2020, in two mandates, he was a deputy of the Social Democratic Party of Serbia in the Assembly of AP Vojvodina. 
From November 2020 to October 2022, he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications. 
From October 2022. he is State Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism and Youth.
He is the general secretary of the Social Democratic Party of Serbia.
