Born in Sarajevo in 1975, Prof. Dr. Kisić graduated from Belgrade Faculty of Medicinal Sciences (BFMS) in 2001 with the average grade 9.60. Upon the completion of her internship year in the period 2001 -2002 at the Military Medical Academy, she passed professional exam in September 2002.
Following the enrolment in the Belgrade of Faculty of Medicine’s epidemiology master’s programme in the academic year 2002/03, Prof. Dr. Kisić passed the oral maters exam with the average grade 10 in June 2005 and was awarded the Master of Epidemiology degree in 2006. She successfully defended her doctoral thesis titled "Predictive value of quality of life in the assessment of disease outcomes in patients with multiple sclerosis" on 14 May 2010.
After starting her epidemiology specialisation four years earlier, in May 2004, she completed it with the distinction from the Belgrade Faculty of Medical Sciences in June 2008 upon which she successfully completed the subspecialisation in epidemiology of non- communicable diseases (NCDs) in December 2017.
As of February 2002 she has been working at the BFMS Institute of Epidemiology, and as of June 2017 is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology, and lecturing epidemiology also at the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Kosovska Mitrovica since February 2019.
In 2015 she became a member of the National Expert Commission for Oncology and a member of the Presidency of the Epidemiological Section.
She published more than 120 scientific papers and is the co-author of six medical books.
Between December 2017 and November 2020 she was Deputy Director of the Public Health Institute of Serbia "Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut".
