Tanja Knezevic is CEO of EKI Transfers payment institution, one of 4 largest payment institutions on the market and being part of larger international group, owned by Greek company CC Varvias holding as a major shareholder. Prior to that, she was deputy CEO and Payment institution manager with specific responsibilities for new developing projects and expanding of Retail network.  She is President of Assembly in Montenegro Transfers  in Podgorica, established by EKI transfers PI.

 

She started her career in Sartid, metal industry as Market manager  in export department for Italian market. After short period, she started  her banking career in banking sector with overall  banking experience that lasted 19 years. Her banking career she started  in Komercijalna bank  where she was working almost 10 years on different top management  positions in Retail division, being in charge for retail product, sales,  bank assurance business, cooperation with microcredit institutions,  card and multichannel business, new  innovative retail projects with EBRD, being in project for introducing one of first  e-banking solutions on the banking market. She was member of marketing  responsible for Retail marketing budget and board member in Kombank Invest fond.

After Komercijalna, she was working in Banca Intesa for almost  6 years at the position head of Sales department for private individuals and achieved excellent business results. Within working experience in Intesa bank she was either leading or being part of many innovative business projects who were implemented such as -   Introducing service model for Affluent segment, introducing CRM tool, Retail transformation project…

She continued career in NLB bank at the position head of cards, e-banking and contact center and after that she joined team in Vojvodjanska bank as a head of Retail product and segment division. During her stay in Vojvodjanska bank she was leading Retail stream within integration project  of Vojvodjanska and OTP bank, coordinated retail and small business team and  successfully integrated, migrated and harmonized  private individual and small business products, services and clients of 2 merging banks. She was Retail board group member in Serbian Bank association.

 

She completed her studies at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade  with title - MASTER OF THE SECOND DEGREE OF GRADUATE ECONOMIC ACADEMIC STUDIES.  She has been a participant in numerous international professional seminars and conferences for retail business, card business and management.

 

She is highly motivated professional, creative and goal oriented  business leader in  finance industry with strong business background of senior management experience in Retail, Digital, Sales and  payment services with  proven achieving, leadership and problem solving skills.

 

Tanja is married and mother of two children, Ana and Dušan.
