Dušan Kovačević is the founder and CEO of the EXIT festival, whose organization grew into one of the largest independent event groups in the world. In the past two years, the EXIT team has organized 50 events in 12 countries, attended by nearly a million people.

In addition to musical events, EXIT has also entered the Metaverse and introduced the first VR festival experience at Expo Dubai. 

Major global media outlets such as BBC, CNN, The Guardian, The Times, and many others regularly report on EXIT as one of the most prestigious festivals in the world. EXIT has brought the biggest names in music to Serbia, including Robbie Williams, The Cure, Madonna, Depeche Mode, The Killers, Calvin Harris, RHCP, The Prodigy, David Guetta, and many others. 

The famous American magazine Pollstar named Dušan one of the most influential people  in the European live music industry in 2021. This top media authority in the field of music industry, with forty years of tradition behind it, has published an inaugural international European list of twenty people who "led, inspired and moved the live music industry forward."

Kovačević is also the founder of the EXIT Foundation, which addresses important social issues in the areas of youth education, regional reconciliation, and environmental protection. He is also the initiator of numerous social activism and humanitarian projects which led to the shift in attitudes of the decision makers and general public, instigating positive social changes in Serbia and in the whole region.
