LAZENDIĆ Neda
Senior Energy Adviser, Hyundai Engineering
Neda Lazendić holds a master’s degree in Economics and Management of the Energy Sector from the Faculty of Economics, as well as a law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade. After several years of legal practice in the private sector, focusing on corporate law, privatization processes, international transactions, banking, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), she transitioned to the renewable energy sector in 2011.

Ms. Lazendić is a wind energy expert with extensive experience in developing projects for the construction of wind power plants with a planned capacity of 800 MW in South Banat. Additionally, as a senior advisor for energy, she is a partner of the South Korean company Hyundai Engineering, which was selected through a public call by the Republic of Serbia as a strategic partner for the construction of solar power plants with a maximum capacity of 1.2 gigawatts and a connection capacity of one gigawatt, along with battery storage.

As an active member of various associations, including the National Alliance for Local Development (NALED), the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), and the Nordic Business Alliance (NBA), Neda advocates for the implementation of the Green Agenda and the increased share of electricity from renewable sources in total energy consumption. Furthermore, as the president of the Supervisory Board of the WISE Serbia network, she contributes to creating a better environment for women to achieve their career goals. Through her personal example and support, she actively participates in their empowerment every day.
