LUTTEROTTI Nikolaus
Austrian Ambassador to Serbia
Nikolaus Lutterotti is Austrian Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia since March 2018. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2018, he served as Foreign Policy Advisor to Foreign Minister and then Chancellor of Austria, Sebastian Kurz. From 2003 to 2011 Nikolaus Lutterotti was posted to the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations in New York, where he worked mainly in the field of Human Rights and International Security. During Austria’s membership of the UN Security Council from 2009-2010 he served as Political Coordinator of Austria’s Security Council Delegation. From 2008-2009 he was the Deputy Chief of Cabinet of the 62nd President of the UN General Assembly. At the beginning of his diplomatic career Mr. Lutterotti was also posted to the Austrian Embassy in Beijing. He holds a Law degree from the University of Innsbruck and an M.A. in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Mr. Lutterotti is married and has a daughter.
