Milena Marić is a mathematics teacher at the 9th Gymnasium "Mihailo Petrović Alas" in Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Belgrade with a master's thesis on the application of modern information technology in mathematics education. For almost 20 years she has been working on improving mathematics and computer science education, both in her classroom and in many working groups and organizations. She worked in "Fondacija Petlja" as a project manager and program coordinator. She has authored several interactive courses on computer programming and STEM topics. Currently she works as an associate of "Fondacija Petlja". She is the author of two books on learning the Python programming language for young pupils. She is an active member of the Mathematical Society of Serbia and became a member of the board last year.
