Professor Marjanovic has broad multidisciplinary interests and experience ranging from water quality and water resources to information systems and water and wastewater management. His diverse international experience across four continents has given him an opportunity to work and consult in the fields of Water Resources, Management, Water Quality Protection and Management, Environmental Protection, Management Policy and Law as well as Solid Waste Management, Environmental Impact Assessment and Limnology.
Professor Marjanovic has extensive teaching and research experience stemming more than 25 years of teaching at Universities in Europe, North America and Africa. He has thought courses at all levels (BSc, MSc and PhD, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Water Quality, Environmental Engineering, Water Quality Modeling, Systems Analysis, Pollution Control and Abatement, GIS in Water Management, Water Resources Management, Limnology, Ecology etc.) and mentored more than 70 MSc students and 5 PhD students.
Prof. Marjanovic held the Chair of Environmental Engineering at WITS University in Johannesburg for 15 years before retiring from Academia. For last 10 years he has been Principal researcher and Advisor to Director general of the Jaroslav Černi Water Institue in Belgrade, Serbia.
