Mr. Donal McGettigan has been IMF Mission Chief for Serbia since December 2022, having been previously mission chief for Turkey. He is also currently mission chief for Slovenia. In addition, he has been deeply involved in the Fund’s policy work and on Fund finances over the course of his Fund career. Prior to the IMF, Mr. McGettigan worked at the Central Bank of Ireland and taught at University College Galway. He also worked for two emerging market hedge Funds in London. His professional interests focus primarily on emerging markets.
