Mr Mekinjić is the President of the Management Board, Komercijalna banka ad Banja Luka since 2016. Previously, he held the position of Deputy Director in the same bank (2006-2016), Director of the Main Branch in Nova Banjalučka Banka- Member of HVB group as well as the Director of the Main Branch in Zepter Komerc Bank ad Banja Luka, Chief of payment cards, Associate for operations with securities and Associate for credit transactions in Development Bank ad Banja Luka.

Also, he is a member of the Board of Insurance Agency of the Republic of Srpska.

Mr Mekinjić is the member of Board of Directors in Association of the Banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2016, and he was the President and the Board of Directors in Association of the Banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina during 2019.

He was a Member of the Supervisory Board,“Oil Refinery“Brod,Chairman of the Supervisory Board,”VB Fund” Banja Luka as well as a Member of the Management Board,”Banja Luka Stock Exchange” ad Banja Luka.

Mr Mekinjić is an Assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka.

He is the author of large number of scientific and expert papers and a participant in many scientific conferences an symposiums.
