MILOSAVLJEVIĆ Margareta
Senior Environmental Advisor, Rio Sava Exploration
Margareta Milosavljević, Principal Environmental Advisor, has been with Rio Tinto since 2016 and is in charge of coordinating and managing the environmental aspects of the Jadar Project. Margareta is in charge of preparing and coordinating all studies: the Project's Socio-Economic Impact Assessment (ESIA), the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) in accordance with the legislation of the Republic Serbia, the European Union, Rio Tinto standards and best international practices.

Before coming to Rio Tinto, Margareta was the head of the sector for environmental protection and sustainable development in the company Holcim Srbija d.o.o. and the director of the environment department at SGS Belgrade d.o.o. Also, Margareta has international experience in the work of Holcim Ltd. Switzerland, where she worked for some time as an associate for corporate affairs.

Margareta has a master's degree in environmental protection, Faculty of Occupational Safety, University of Nis. She has participated in the implementation of numerous environmental protection projects in Serbia and is a certified CO2 verifier - GHG Verification Using ISO 14064-3; Canadian Standards Association; License 50029594- 50061156; lead auditor ISO 14001 EMS Auditor - Lead Auditor; SGS Ltd, License 40296555/128812479.
