In August 2020, Ary Naϊm has taken the role of Regional Manager Central and South East Europe. Prior to this, Ary has been IFC Country Manager for Mexico, where he oversaw IFC strategy in the country, led IFC business development, and managed relationships with the Mexican Government and IFC’s main private sector partners. Before his assignment in Mexico, Ary was IFC Representative for Haiti and the Dominican Republic from 2010 to 2014, where he achieved a significant strengthening of IFC role and development impact in both countries.  

Ary’s prior career spans over more than 20 years in France, Morocco, the United States, in both the private and multilateral financial sector, with a specific focus on SME Finance, Risk Management, and Private Sector Development.  Ary has worked with financial institutions across a wide range of countries in the Middle-East and North-Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South and East Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America.
 
Ary is an Engineer with a French Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence.
