Mr. Nikolić is the President of the Serbian Group of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (Serbian Chamber of Commerce). He was elected in 2008 and was re-elected three times. Mr. Nikolić is also a member of the Presidency of the Union of employers and a representative of the same in the Social and Economic Council of Serbia.
Miomir has more than twenty years of regional experience in management of pharmaceutical wholesaling companies, as co-founder of one of the first privately-owned pharmaceutical enterprises in former Yugoslavia. Presently, he is a shareholder in companies engaged in pharmaceutical wholesales in Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through ownership he is also engaged in pharma retail and production of dietetic and consumer healthcare products.
Prior to private entrepreneurship, he worked at the Military Medicines Academy (VMA) in the Medicines Control laboratory.
Miomir holds a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Belgrade, where he specialized in the examination and control of medicines. He was born 1957. in Pirot, Serbia.
