She graduated from the University of Belgrade, and during her studies she started working as a journalist. First experiences in Radio Belgrade, TV Belgrade, Borba, Radio Studio B, weekly "Rad". From 1989. to 2005. journalist and editor of the Economic section of the daily Politika. In January 2006, she founded the publishing house NIRA PRESS d.o.o. (www.nirapress.com), which publishes Ekonometar and Business Magazine. At the same time, in 2011, for six months, she was the editor of the Economic part in the weekly NIN. Author of books on Dragoslav Avramović (1995), "Economists on Transition in Serbia" (2003), author and project manager of the research "Open about Corruption in Serbia" in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, author of the research and project leader "Social Image and Reforms in Serbia" (2003).
Prizes and awards: Annual award of Politika in 1995. for the best journalist, Association of Business Women in Serbia - Award „The woman of the dragon” in 2009., Award of the Belgrade Banking Academy in 2009. for economic analytics. "Golden Pen" in 2010, the award of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce for the best economic journalist in 2010, the Annual Award of the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) for 2014. for the best journalist. Lifetime Achievement Award of the Association of Journalists of Serbia and Montenegro (November 2015), Hugo Bos Award for the Woman of a Hero (March 8, 2016).
