Katarina Obradovic Jovanovic, Assistant Minister for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and Entrepreneurship
Mrs. Katarina Obradović Jovnovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1974, and graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. She holds B.S. in Industrial Engineering.

She started her career as intern and later analyst in the Economic Institute in Belgrade gaining valuable experience within consultancy area. Mrs. Obradović Jovanović continued her career in public sector and has over 12 years of experience in senior positions with mandate related to SME development in the government. In this role, she leaded preparation and execution of various strategic documents, enterprise support programs and reform initiatives. She has been constantly extending her knowledge in economic development and European integration process throughout various education programs and study visits, including US State department International Leadership Visitors Program, European Commission and European Parliament Visitors Program, Study program in Japan for Senior Executives involved in development of industry and SME`s policy.

Mrs. Obradović Jovanović is official representative of Republic of Serbia in different bilateral, regional and international projects and initiatives. She is EU Small Business Act coordinator for Serbia, Republic of Serbia PAG member in the Western Balkans Enterprise Development & Innovation Facility (WB EDIF) and Serbian counterpart in the German –Serbian initiative for Sustainable Growth and Employment. In addition, she serves as President of the EU Negotiation Group for Chapter 20 – SME`s Industrial Policy and as a appointedsenior officer of the Ministry of Economy for the national programs funded by EU IPA funds.
She is fluent in English and has basic proficiency in French. Mother of two.
