ODOROVIĆ Lav
Co-Founder & CEO, Relio AG
Lav Odorović is a serial entrepreneur and accomplished business leader with extensive experience in creating and scaling innovative financial solutions. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Relio AG, he leads one of Switzerland’s most forward-thinking fintech companies, designed to revolutionize banking for small businesses. Relio is uniquely positioned to solve the challenges posed by compliance and anti-money laundering regulations, areas where traditional and neobanks often fall short. By leveraging proprietary technology, Relio automates complex AML processes, reducing the need for manual intervention while maintaining high levels of speed and reliability for customers. This innovative approach has enabled Relio to meet the needs of underserved businesses both in Switzerland and internationally. Recently, the company received regulatory approval to serve non-resident businesses in key European markets, including Germany, Austria, France, Italy, and Liechtenstein, paving the way for further expansion.
Before founding Relio, Lav co-founded Penta, a challenger bank operating under the banking license of Solarisbank. Under his leadership as CEO, Penta grew rapidly, raising €10 million from institutional investors and securing a significant market share in the German SME sector. By offering modern, customer-centric solutions, Penta positioned itself as a trusted partner for businesses and an important player in the financial ecosystem. Its rapid success culminated in an acquisition by Finleap, further solidifying its standing in the market.
Earlier in his career, Lav gained extensive experience at Siemens Building Technologies HQ in Zurich, where he worked on strategic initiatives to optimize pricing models, streamline operations, and align business units with emerging digital opportunities. His ability to drive efficiency and foster innovation contributed to Siemens’ strong competitive positioning in global markets.
Lav’s entrepreneurial journey began with Beo Coders, a startup he co-founded in Serbia, where he developed the first price-comparison e-commerce platform in the region, earning a state innovation award.
Lav holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Belgrade, Serbia.
