Dragica Pavlović Babić, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology, University of Belgrade (teaching undergraduate, master, and doctoral studies) and Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade. She teaches Psychology of Education, Educational Policy, Assessment, and Inclusive Education courses.
Dr Pavlović Babić has gained significant experience in organizing and conducting assessment studies and reporting assessment findings, both at national and international levels. She has coordinated the OECD/PISA study in Serbia for five cycles. She has worked on developing assessment systems in Serbia, Montenegro, and Central Asia, and participated in developing several in-service teacher-training programs, such as Culture of Critical Thinking, Assessment in the Classroom, Item Writing, Competence-based Assessment, etc.
Her work reflects over 25 years of professional experience in projects and intervention programs supported by the European Union, OECD, World Bank, UNICEF, and the Open Society Institute. Dr. Pavlović Babić is an active member of several scientific organizations and bodies: European Educational Research Association (EERA) – member of the EERA Council; European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA) – member of Board for Psychology in Education; International Society for Cultural and Activity Research (ISCAR).
