Born on August 28, 1949, in Novi Sad. Basketball coach, Bachelor with Honors in Economics, mentor of the FIBA Coaching department.

Svetislav Pešić is one of the most recognized and most successful basketball coaches in Europe and the world. He is a member of the FIBA HALL OF FAME.

- He is the only coach in the world who has won both the European champion title and the World champion title in all competitions organized by FIBA.
- He is also the only basketball coach who won the European Championship with two different countries - Germany and Yugoslavia.
- World champion with Yugoslavia in 2002, FIBA World Cup silver medalist with Serbia in 2023 and bronze medalist at the 2024 Olympic Games.
- The only active coach who became club champion both as a player and as a coach (Bosnia – Sarajevo, Barcelona).
- Champion of Yugoslavia with Bosnia - Sarajevo and winner of the Yugoslav Basketball Cup as a player and as a coach.
- Multiple champion titles and Basketball Cups champion with ALBA Berlin and FC BAYERN Munich, and in Spain with Barcelona.
- Multiple titles of the Coach of the Year in Germany and multiple title of the Coach of the Year in Spain and in Serbia.
- In 2003 title Coach of the Year in Europe.
- Winner of the European Cup - ALBA Berlin and Girona, Spain.
- FINAL FOUR winner and EuroLeague winner with Barcelona in 2003
