Tijana Prodanović is an Associate Professor at the Department of Astronomy, Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade, a data scientist at a startup Wonder Dynamics, a science communicator at the Association of Science Communicators Naukom and a TikTok and Instagram influencer known as Dr Cosmic Ray.  She holds a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, where she graduated in 2006 in the field of particle astrophysics. As a teaching assistant during her PhD studies, Tijana was twice elected an Excellent Teacher. Besides research and teaching at the University, Tijana is very active in promoting science to a wider audience. In 2008 she won the national, and came 2nd in the international Fame Lab competition for the best young science communicator. She was a program coordinator of the Novi Sad Science Festival (2010-2015) and the Researchers Night in Novi Sad Serbia (2011-present). Tijana also spent 4 years teaching astronomy to gifted students at gymnasium, and was a visiting professor at University of Ljubljana, and Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.
