RATNOVSKI Lev
Resident Representative for Serbia, IMF
Lev Ratnovski is the IMF's Resident Representative for Serbia. Previously, he was the IMF's Senior Desk for the Euro Area, Lead Economist at the European Central Bank, and Senior Economist at the IMF Research Department. His earlier country assignments at the IMF headquarters in Washington DC included United States, Canada, Korea, EU/Euro Area, Ukraine, and several EU countries during the sovereign debt crisis. Mr. Ratnovski has published in the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Review of Financial Studies. Mr. Ratnovski, a Portuguese national, started his career at the Bank of England after receiving Ph.D. from the University of Amsterdam.
