SAVIĆ Nebojša
Member of the Presidency, Serbian Association of Economists
Dr Nebojša Savić is a professor of Economics, Digital Economy and Competitiveness at FEFA faculty and is an affiliate MOC faculty member of the Harvard Business School Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness. From November 2012 to March 2023 he was President of the Council of the Governors of the National Bank of Serbia. He has more than thirty-five years of experience in institution building toward a market economy and company restructuring. Dr Savic was a member of top expert teams advising on economic reform policies in Serbia. He was a member of the Serbian National Competitiveness Council (2008-2012) and previously served as President of the Yugoslav Economists Association and Editor-in-Chief of Economic Barometer, leading monthly business cycle publication on the Yugoslav economy. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Alpha Bank Serbia (2006-2012) and President of the Board of directors of Komercijalna Banka, Serbia (2003-2005). He holds a Ph.D. and MA from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. Dr Savić has authored seven books (including Savic, N. and G. Pitic, Eurotransition – Challenges and Opportunities, 1999) and more than fifty articles.
