PhD-MD SANJA RADOJEVIĆ-ŠKODRIĆ has been performing the function of acting Director General of the Serbian Health Insurance Fund since November 16, 2017. Previously, during the period from 2015 to November 2017 she was the Head of the Institute of Pathology of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade, where she is still employed today. She has been an associate professor since 2012 lecturing in the subject of Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade. As a lecturer by invitation, she has been engaged in numerous domestic and international congresses and courses.
PhD-MD Sanja Radojević Škodrić acquired all academic titles at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade (Doctor of Medical Sciences in 2012, specialization in pathology in 2010, Master of Medical Sciences in 2002, Medical Doctor in 1999). She is the author of 35 scientific papers, as well as more than 32 quotes (Scopus), IF 53, 217. Some of the current projects on which she is engaged are: Cellular and molecular basis of malignant and cardiovascular diseases-clinical implications (funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, III41027), Optical-microscopic, immunological, molecular biological and genetic testing of malignant and non-malignant kidney diseases (financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, 175059).

During the previous period, from 2014-2017, she also chaired the National Expert Commission for Pathology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia. PhD-MD Sanja Radojević Škodrić is a member of the European Association of Uropathologists, the European Association of Pathologists, the Association of Pathologists and Cytologists of Serbia and the Serbian Medical Association.
