TEOKAREVIĆ Jovan
Professor, Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade
Jovan Teokarevic is professor of Comparative Politics at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. Prior to that he was researcher at the Belgrade-based Institute for European Studies. Since 2016 he’s also been visiting professor at the College of Europe, Natolin Campus, Warsaw, where he teaches a course on EU-Western Balkan relations. He used to teach similar courses for many years at NATO Defense College in Rome, at the graduate study programs of the University of Vienna, and at the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Diplomatic Academy. In many published books and articles he’s mostly written about democratization in post-communist countries, particularly in the Balkans, and about EU and NATO enlargement. He leads an Interdisciplinary master program in South Eastern European Studies, in cooperation with the University of Graz, as well as the Faculty of Political Sciences’ Balkan Centre. He is Chairman of the Board of the Open Society Foundation, Serbia.
