TRBOVIĆ Ana

Ana S. Trbovich is Full Professor at the Faculty of school in Belgrade, Serbia. She teaches and writes on European Integration, Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness, Strategic and Public Administration Management, and had served as Dean from 2012 to 2015. Dr. Trbovich is co-founder of Grid Singularity, energy blockchain technology company, and Intersection, NGO promoting science in the Western Balkans. As Partner at EuroBalkan Advisors (EBA), she manages projects and consults on competitiveness and innovation policy for international organisations, including the EU, USAID and the World Bank. Dr. Trbovich serves on the board of the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT) and several business and civil society organisations (National Alliance for Local Economic Development-NALED, Serbian Association of Economists, NGO Ethnonetwork, etc). She has actively participated in Serbia’s economic reforms and EU accession process, both as an apolitical high government official and advisor. From 2002 to 2006, she served as Assistant Minister of International Economic Relations, coordinating Serbia’s EU accession process and investment policies, and in 2013/14 as Special Advisor to Minister of Economy in charge of entrepreneurship and competitiveness policy, including regulatory reform and venture capital development. She holds a PhD (Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy), two Masters Degrees (Master of Art in Law and Diplomacy, Fletcher School; Master in Public Administration, Harvard Kennedy School of Government) and BA (Tufts University, triple-major in Economics, International Relations and French Literature). Specialized in EU policies at Science Po, Paris, France. She is the author of “A Legal Geography of Yugoslavia’s Disintegration” (Oxford University Press, 2008), “Public Administration and European Integration of Serbia” (FEFA and Institute for Textbooks, 2010) and many articles.
