VASIĆ Vladimir
Secretary General, Association of Serbian Banks
He has been the ASB Secretary General since 2019, where he has been organising and managing the operations of the Association, and representing the ASB in front of third parties. During more than three years of his mandate, he has strengthened and expanded the cooperation and dialogue with all relevant institutions and participants on the banking and financial markets. Vladimir has more than 20 years of professional experience in the financial and private sectors, including managerial positions he held, at different levels, in different banks, insurance companies, as well as in an investment fund management company. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, at the University of Belgrade, department of Banking, Finances and Insurance. During his professional career he attended many courses, both locally and abroad, on the topics planning, strategic decision making, credit and other risks in banking operations, project management, team leadership, quality management, change management, etc.

Throughout his banking career, he was, among other things, professionally engaged in operational tasks concerning business support; he was on positions dealing with coordination and supervision of branch office operations; he worked on strategic planning and special importance projects; he was a member of a risk committee, a due diligence team, responsible for project portfolio management and key changes management. Aside from that, he worked on operational risk tasks, AML and compliance activities, managed projects for bettering market positions, performance and operational quality in banks, and performed advisory activities with the aim of strategic advancement of financial performance.
