CEO, Airport Nikola Tesla
Saša Vlaisavljević is the general manager and CEO of JSC Airport Nikola Tesla Belgrade. He was first appointed to this position in August 2014, as acting director general, and was entrusted with the second term in the office as general manager in 2018.
He graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Department for Air Transport. His extensive work experience includes the positions of vice-president and later director of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (from 2009 until 2014), City Manager of the City of Belgrade (2009), as well as general manager (2007 – 2009) and chairman of the Supervisory Board (2009-2011) of the national air-carrier JatAirways, where he made the first managerial steps in his career.
He is a laureate of many prestigious awards in the area of business and management, among which the ones standing out are the international recognition Most Influential CEO of the Year 2018, International award Serbia – Inspirational Leader of the Year for 2017 and 2018, regional awards European Best Manager and Best Company of 2017 and 2018, and Best Manager of Southeastern and Central Europe for 2015 and 2016.
Since 2018 he has also held positions of vice president of basketball club Red Star as well as Assembly Chairman of the water polo Association of Serbia.
