Ivan Vujačić is a professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Beograd where he teaches Comparative Economic Systems and the Economics of EU Integration. He is a visiting professor at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Beograd where he teaches International Economic Relations and the American Economic System.
As a Fulbright scholar he spent 1983-1984 at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He has participated in Aspen Institute conferences, the Salzburg Seminar and has attended the Harvard Executive Leadership Program on a Kokkalis Foundation Fellowship.
President of the Forum of International Relations of the European Movement in Serbia
Independent member of the Board of Eurobank, Beograd (2010 – present).
Member of the Presidency and Executive Committee of the Serbian Association of Economists.
Member of the Presidency of the Serbian Scientific Society of Economists.
Member of the European Association of Comparative Economic Studies (EACES) and was a member of its Executive Committee (2014-2016).
Member of the Political Council of the Democratic Party.
Member of the Fulbright Scholars Association of Serbia.
Member of the Harvard Club of Serbia.
Member of the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Beograd ( 2011-2015).
He was a member of the Federal Parliament of Yugoslavia between 1992-1996 for the Democratic Party and the Faction leader between 1994-1996.
Ambassador to the United States between 2002 and 2009.
