Born on September 1st, 1954 in Belgrade.

Montenegrin.

Married, three children.

Graduated at Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, 1978.

Has the diploma of jurisprudence exam.

Previous work engagement and state functions:

March 1978 – November 1980 - practitioner and professional collaborator at I Municipal public prosecutor's office in Belgrade and in District public prosecutor's office in Belgrade.

November 1980 – January 1981 – Secretary of Court in District Court in Titograd.

January 1982 – March 1993 – Lawyer.

March 1993 – May 1995 – Minister of Justice in the Government of the Republic of Montenegro.

May 1995 – February 1998 – Minister of Interior Affairs in the Government of the Republic of Montenegro.

President of the Government of the Republic of Montenegro, from February 5, 1998 until November 5, 2002.

President of the Assembly of the Republic of Montenegro, from November 5, 2002.

Elected as the President of the Republic of Montenegro on May 11, 2003.

On April 6th 2008, the first Presidential Elections after the independence of Montenegro, Mr. Vujanovic was elected as the President.

The Second Mandate for the President he got on the elections in 2013.

Since the expiration of that mandate he has got the honorary status of the Former President of Montenegro.

He is currently the President of Podgorica Club, organization established on February 1st 2019. Members of Podgorica Club are former presidents of state and government from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia and Slovenia.
