Doctor of Medicine, Master of Medical Sciences, Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics, Doctor of Science in the field of health management. He performed the duties of Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Health and Family of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, State Secretary in the Ministry of Health in charge of public health and Chairman of the Board of the Clinical Center of Serbia. Project manager and coordinator of several projects in the field of improving the capacity of local self-government and public health, encouraged by the European Union. Within the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED), he was an expert consultant on health care projects. He was an invited lecturer at the School of Public Health of the Medical Faculty in Belgrade and a part-time consultant to the Minister of Health of Montenegro for several terms. He is a member of the Forum for International Relations of the European Movement in Serbia. Author and co-author of several professional and scientific papers and research studies in the field of public health, health management, health financing and health diplomacy. He won the "Reformer of the Year" award in 2012, which is awarded by NALED.
