Lidija Zelić is the Managing Director of the Serbian Biogas Association, one of the pioneers in Serbia’s biogas sector and a recognized expert in sustainable development and project management. With 18 years of experience, she has developed expertise in project and brand management, marketing, public relations, and NGO leadership. Over the past six years, Lidija has successfully led the Serbian Biogas Association, the umbrella organization for biogas in the Republic of Serbia, overseeing key projects and building strategic partnerships with domestic and international organizations, including the German Biogas Association (Fachverband Biogas e.V.).
Before transitioning to the biogas sector, she established a career in agriculture, further refining her skills through international programs. Dedicated to green technologies, Lidija actively promotes the benefits of biogas, develops educational initiatives, and advocates for regulatory improvements to support the sustainable energy transition. She is also deeply passionate about empowering women in agriculture. Lidija holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, is fluent in English and Italian, and has authored numerous articles and papers on biogas and sustainability.
