ŽIVKOVIĆ Uroš
Program Director, Returning Point
Uros Zivkovic is a dispute resolution expert from Serbia, and a former lecturer of Private International Law and Arbitration Law at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, where he completed undergraduate and graduate studies with honors.

He studied Private and Public International Law at the Hague Academy of International Law in 2009 and deepened his understanding of international investment and commercial arbitration at the International Arbitration Academy in Paris in 2011, after successfully completing bar traineeship within several prominent law offices in Belgrade, specializing in dispute settlement.

After receiving the Chevening Scholarship for 2014/2015, Uros Zivkovic completed his Master of Law (LLM) at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Law as a graduate member of the Wolfson College, specializing in International Commercial Litigation and Settlement of International Disputes. While in Cambridge, he served as the President of the Graduate Law Society and the convenor of the Cambridge Arbitration Day.

He has published academic papers both domestically and internationally on various topics related to international investment arbitration, dispute resolution and private international law.

Throughout his career, he has worked as an appointed expert for international organizations (UN, UNDP, GIZ, WFD), foreign governments and currently serves as the Program Director of Returning Point – a circular migration project, based in Belgrade, Serbia, focusing on utilizing circular migration for local development.
