Angelo Zuccala is a dual national, Italian and French. Angelo received his Master’s degree in Business Studies and Finance from Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle in France after completing Preparatory Classes HEC.

Having worked in top luxury hotels, mainly InterContinental brands, and a Destination Management Company during his whole career, Angelo experienced a broad variety of roles, including project management, sales, food & beverage, revenue and operation management.

Angelo has been working in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years, he joined InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts in 2003, where he worked in several leadership positions in the luxury segment in many different countries, UK, France, Egypt, Malta, Germany, Romania and Bulgaria. Angelo is used to significantly improve the reputation and financial results of a hotel, seeing large increases in guests’ satisfaction, employee engagement and in revenue and profit. Angelo is focused on the delivery of results with a strong emphasis on strategic plans and solutions. His strength lies in his ability to manage people from all backgrounds, to motivate and foster teamwork in achieving key set objectives. Angelo is a Sales and Revenue focused leader who has built on his past experience to develop solid understanding of the market. His ability to understand the business has clearly helped in developing strategies and tactics able to anticipate trends and beat the competition. He has also been constantly exposed to challenging long term capital planning, execution of projects, fire life and safety and renovation works.

Angelo currently works at the InterContinental Sofia in Bulgaria, a hotel that was opened in 2018. Angelo thrives in an environment which constantly provides him with new goals and opportunities to initiate changes and improvements through people.
